I recently learned that Edward Arthur "Casey" Abbott died January 29, 2013.  I could not find an obituary for him but with the help of a friend who has access to Ancestry.com plus the information Casey put on his page on our site, I managed to put the following together.  If you know of any misinformation, please let me know.

Edward Arthur "Casey" Abbott May 25, 1043 - January 29, 2013.  Casey was born in Arizona and died in Conroe, Texas. His parents, Bobbie Leigh Brewer and father Edward Arthur Abbott predeceased him.  He had 2 sisters.  Casey married Laurie Galvin (born 1944) on December 20, 1963.  They had a son, Edward Arthur, jr. who goes by the nickname of "Carey" and lives in Phoenix.   Laurie and Casey were divorced in 1982 and were remarried in 1984.  However, this marriage also ended in divorce.  Casey then went on to married Dorothy Acuff in 1998.  Although Dorothy had some children from a previous marriage Carey was Casey's only child.  Dorothy died predeceasing Casey.  Casey and Dorothy's ashes were scattered over Donner Lake.  Casey worked as an Instrument Engineer and served in the Air Force.
