Marie Carolyn VanVeen Doyle died November 1, 2018.  Marie married shortly after graduating from Sunset and moved to Vashon Island before moving on to California where she had her first child befor divorcing.  She then went on to be married 5 times and have 5 children from those marriages.  She lived in a variety of places from American Samoa to Connecticut where she was living when she died.  She also worked all her life at many jobs but retired from a casino in Jewitt City.  A fellow she had been dating had purchased a house Windham, CT and had been tryhing to get her to marry him but she wouldn't do it.  After her retirement she did agree to move in with him but she wasn't there long before she fell.  They thought she had had a stroke or a seizure but she had congestive heart failure and a stage 4 brain tumor.  In September they removed 80% of the tumor but she refused radiation or chemo as the prognosis was not good. Her second daughter, Robin, took a leave of absence from her job to come and take care of her.  All of her children managed to get to her to say their good byes and she died November 1, 2018.
