I first met Ken when in grade school and he lived in a house off Salzman Road near what would become Bales Market. His father created the Kendon Advertising Agency named after his sons. My father was in a related business and the families socialized a bit at that time. I recall little contact with the Colemans at Sunset. I later encountered Don in the late 80s or 90s when we worked at Clackmas County Mental Health. Don was there briefly, as a Social Worker, before I found he left and then later, passed. I was able to share words of consolation with Ken at the time. While I didn't know him well, the image I have of all the family members I had met is "nice".  I think it was a universal dynamic they offered to the world. The world needs more of it now than ever. We were fortunate to have counted him among our life associations. Rest in peace. His goodness appears to carry on through his many descendants.
