George Collett (Buff) Little

George Colletti Little Jr.

George Colletti Little Jr., loving husband and wonderful uncle, went to be with our Lord on
November 12, 2022 after enduring several prolonged illnesses. George was born on
December 28,1943 in Long Beach, California to George Colletti Little Sr. and Elizabeth Emory
Little. He moved with his family and two younger brothers, Thomas Emory Little and Richard
Lane Little to Portland, Oregon and then to the San Francisco Bay area in California.

George graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Economics in 1968. Upon
graduation, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard to serve his country during the
Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, he moved to the Bay Area and followed his
father into the steel business at Gilmore Steel. George changed careers in 1980 and
became a commercial real estate broker specializing in industrial sales in San Francisco,
most notably at Nelson Peterson & Associates, where he met the love of his life, Cindy
Tidwell.

Cindy and George married in 1993 in Houston, Texas and resided in San Francisco. They
moved to Dallas, Texas in 1996 and then to Houston, Texas in 2002. While not having children
of their own, they focused their attention on being the best uncle and aunt to their six nieces
and nephews. Through the years, Cindy and George enjoyed celebrating birthdays,
holidays, graduations and many summer vacations to their favorite spots along 30-A in
Florida with their extended family that enriched their lives and gave them both so much joy.

During his retirement, George loved following the stock market and investing on behalf of his
family. He spent his days reading the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, watching CNBC and never
missing Jim Cramer’s nightly show.

George was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Thomas. He is survived by
his loving family including his wife, Cindy Tidwell Little, his brother and sister-in law, Richard
and Marcia Little and their daughter, Katelan. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Diana

children, Charlsey Jo and Andie Suede, and niece, Remi Tidwell. His cherished family will miss
him more than words can convey.

Buff lived one street east of me in vista hills..always a nice gentlemen even in high school..the neighood kids were into cars and "laying rubber" was the contest of the day...Buff's family had a station wagon with an automatic so making the tires spin was more of a challenge...So Buff would rev up the motor in netural and then quickly ingage the transmission into low gear...it worked but after several exibitions the transmission gave up and Buff had to crawl home...I'm sure is parents were more them pleased...he rode the bus to school for several weeks as I remembers...fun times...

I'm so sad to hear about Buff's passing~he was my 1st date in highschool, & I fell in love!! He was so handsome & so, so nice.......I use to go to the Portland Golf Club swimming, just to see him; his Mom was always there @ the pool & I got to know her~she was beautiful!

He was my Teenage Love!

It sounds like he'd been sick for a long time~I hope he didn't suffer.

Buff was a cool, kind, pleasant classmate.  Reading his obit, he also lived a full  and fulfilled life.  Glad he did.  He deserved it.  May he rest in peace.
