Sherry died March 30th from a brain tumor that couldn't be removed.  She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Duane Cook and two children; Kim and Chad and a beloved grandson.  Sherry and Duane purchased the Uptown Hardware store from Sherry's father and continued to operate it while adding another store at Woodstock.  The original store moved from it's location of many years to a new one on NW Glisan which their son, Chad manages.  The entire family has been involved in making these stores beloved sites in their neighborhoods.
