Gretchen L. LaCheck died May 8, 2008, of breast cancer at age 63.  Gretchen was born Aug. 23, 1944, in Portland.  She was a medical assistant for Kaiser Permanente.  She lived in Phoenix, AZ for six years in the 1970's.  Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Brown and Debbie LaCheck' mother, Ruth Jones; sister, Sue Widmer; and two grandchildren.  Rememberances to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
