This is what I know about Bill:

Born July 12, 1943 died September 13, 2024

Bill lived in Cedar Hills.  He attended Oregon State University.  Because of his dad's connections he had a summer job working for Parker Construction putting up the metal electrical things you see out in the country.  All of the other guys doing this work were athletes (my exhusband for one).  They made very good money.  He married and had a daughter.  They were divorced and sometime later he remarried Jane.   Bill wanted to move back to Oregon but once here he kept thinking California was better, I believe due to the weather.  A fairly short time after moving here he admitted he'd made a mistake. "California had changed."  I'm certain some of you could fill in some gaps here.
