Stanley Arthur Gaunt was born August 1, 1944 in Hillsboro. He owned and operated A.J. Gaunt & Son Stanley is survived by his sons, John and Clayton. Stanley died November 1, 2010.
Stanley Gaunt -- Stanley and his parents occupy a unique place in Aloha and the history of Washington County. It is 185th and Alexander; a land known to other classmates like Chuck Olson, Betty Delplanche and more. Stanley's family worked hard at the well drilling business. Think how vital water was to the early homeowners. Even classmate Jerry Harpster drilled his own well near Monroe, Oregon. Stanley had a mischievous streak in him. If you look carefully at his posted picture you can see it. My last visit with Stanley was a few years ago with Dan Clouser and Jim Leskela at the local American Legion Post. We hoisted a few. Stanley, a part of the mosaic. An important part. Lauren Paulson 2/21/12
